Already available at Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus and Saks, Sarah Jessica Parker clicked her heels and her first US west coast stand alone shoe boutique became a reality recently. Her second store is located within the Bellagio, Las Vegas; housing her shoes, bags, accessories, a couple of LBDs and an exclusive Bellagio Blue range. It is a parlour of pleasure with plush carpet, nude colourway walls, fresh white flowers and rows of shoes – it’s like a candy store for adults.
What’s particularly striking is the visual merchandising that sees vintage lucite shelves holding a pair of perfectly arranged shoes, with the signature pops of ribbon facing out – a nod to SJP’s hair ribbons worn as a child. The colour combinations surprise and delight, giving the collection some serious personality.
Straight from ‘Sex and The City’, the collection is a collaboration between SJP and George Malkemus of Manolo Blahnik, the brand that Carrie Bradshaw made famous. The shoes are handmade in Italy and designed with three guiding principles;

What’s really clever is not just the quality and comfort you’d expect from a designer brand, but the thought that’s gone into catering for everyday women. If like me your towering days are over you can enjoy the slightly lower heel and still feel like a million bucks. The sandals were also beautiful.
